Nigerian Dwarf Goat Kids
Our kids are dam raised because we strongly believe in the natural way of raising goats. While there are various opinions on this issue in the goat world, we believe dam raised kids are healthier - physically, mentally, and emotionally - when raised affectionately 24 hours a day by their mothers, the way it was meant to be. We do make an intentional effort to spend time with our kids socializing them and making them friendly and affectionate. As we milk our own goats is it important to us that all goats born and raised on St. Alban’s Farm are person friendly and easy with which to work.
All of our Nigerian Dwarf Goats are registered with the American Diary Goat Association (ADGA) under our herd name: St Alban’s.
Policies
Please read all of our policies in regards to the sale of goats before inquiring into the purchase of any of our animals.
Breeding Plans for the foreseeable future
Due to a variety of reasons we did not breed our goats Fall 2021 and will thus have no kids available for sale in 2022. We do not know when or if we will have kids available for sale again in the future.
Kids Born 2021…
Due to all that has been occurring in our country over the past year, we made the decision this past fall (2020) not to breed any of our goats for Spring 2021 birthings. At this time we are not sure when we will start-up our breeding program again.
