They are also a delight for the soul: these little goats are loveable and enjoyable to raise. Nigerian Dwarf Goats make good pets and great farm animals providing companionship as well as sweet healthy milk that can be enjoyed chilled as well as used to make cheese, ice cream, fudge, yogurt, soap…the list just goes on and on.

Raising Happy and Healthy Goats

Our goal here at St. Alban’s Farm is to raise happy and healthy goats that get to spend each day being as goaty as possible while fulfilling their role as livestock here on the farm. To do this we strive to practice sustainable and humane farming practices that provide a hospitable environment for our goats and ourselves. My hope is that you might be interested in this way of raising your goats also, and so to help you, this area provides information on goats and how to raise them happily and healthily.

Looking for goats to add to your herd? On this page, each spring, we will provide a list of the goat kids born on our farm. Those available for sale will be marked as such. We retain the right to keep any kids born in our own herd. These kids will be marked as “retained.” You can also contact us ahead of time to get on a waiting list for any possible kids or kids from a specific breeding match.
